I know I have been MIA for a while. It has been so busy. I feel like I've been around the world for the holidays. I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year from the Crazy Girls. By the way, I hope you like the new look. I realllllyyy hope Kelly approves. She designed my blog to start off, I hope I do ok to carry on her "work".
Our plans for today include: the Mizzou vs Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl. Eating some black eyed peas for luck and yumminess. Make attainable resolutions for 2008. More cleaning from Christmas.... grrrr. Playing with the girls. Praise God for I am blessed beyond measure. And refining the budget for January. (I didn't do a good job of sticking to the Christmas budget. I don't want to say Christmas is about stuff or money. I love gift giving. I want others to feel special or get something useful or neat from ME! Come on, God gave his SON for Christmas after all!)
I am going to attmept a gianormous post to get everyone up to speed on life here. We will see how long it will take to get that done.....

Budgets.... eeek! I just tried to be good and balance my checkbook as part of my first day of 2008 and really screwed it up. I hope that isn't a bad omen!
The only thing I have hope for and want to happen in 2008 is to get my health back in order so that I can work, drive and live on my own.
Is that too much to ask? I sure hope not!

I don't have any resolutions yet. I'm late on the ball here, but hey, I'm more concerned with what's coming in August! The 16th to be precise. :)
I guess, getting the house in order would be my goal before then. I'd like to finish up our bedroom and bathroom before the baby comes.
