Hooray!

The girlies are home again! Yippee! When my dad got Allison out of the car she started wiggling and yelled "MOMMMMYYYY!" I can not effectively describe the absolute JOY filling me to see my "big" girl! I think the last time I was this excited about reuniting with someone it was when Shane returned from his first deployment.

Don't get me wrong, it was fabulous to see my parents. They looked a little (A LOT) tired from the past 10 days. My mom is still coughing and looked weary, but they were both in great spirits. It was wonderful to see them smile and laugh with my little ones.

Let's not forget the littlest member of our family. Grandpa was sure to let her "show off" her new "skill". The child has figured out how to squirm out of her car seat. If left unbuckled, the child arches her back and slides and arches and slides until she gets the car seat to tip forward. Then she will just slide on out! She is also REALLY close to crawling. I know she hasn't changed light years, but gosh it seems like it!

God has blessed me with a wonderful family. I hope everyone reading this can say the same. If not, I hope my silly little blog can provide a passing smile for you.
