This is my husband Shane. I don't have a really good piture of him in uniform. So this is a great pic I have from before he deployed. This is his second deployment in our 5.5 years of marriage. He was active duty military for the 1st Persian Gulf War. So he is my personal veteran.To Shane, his buddies, and any other vets reading this, Thank You. It is difficult to be away from home. To be away from your "normal" life. I hope you can accept the thanks of one who does appreciate the losses required to keep our country free. Your willingness to do what other can not is one of the things that makes our country strong and great.
Thank you. Keep you the great work! We need folks like you. I hope you feel appreciated for all you do.

I don't have a personal veteran anymore since my grandpa died, so I'm going to adopt Shane.
